Eye See… Eye Learn™ program
The Manitoba Association of Optometrists has expanded the Eye See…Eye Learn™ program to include Kindergarten First Pair Free. The Canadian Association of Optometrists encourages all parents to ensure their children have a comprehensive eye exam by an optometrist before starting school—and removes barriers for children who need glasses.
Did you know?
Basic eye exams for children under 19 are covered by Manitoba Health. Kindergarten First Pair Free is available to all Kindergarten-aged children living in Manitoba, regardless of school program participation. If the optometrist determines glasses are needed, children can receive one free pair from participating practices. Give your child the best start in learning, play, and seeing the world clearly. Make eye exams a regular part of their health care.
