Applicant’s Eligibility
FORAC credential assessment determines an applicant’s eligibility to challenge the Internationally Graduated Optometrist Evaluating Examination (IGOEE). Successful completion of the IGOEE is required to establish eligibility to challenge the Optometry Examining Board of Canada (OEBC) Written Examination and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), or to apply to the Advanced Standing Optometry Preparatory Program (ASOPP) at the University of Waterloo. Internationally educated applicants should be advised that this process may involve substantial time and financial commitments.
